Rhino - clasps

We cut down from 25 hours total to 8 by reducing the amount of corners.

Small Blocks

Big Blocks

We made both small (4 cm wide) cubes, and big ones (up to 20 cm). We were convinced that the machines would only be able to hold the small ones, and made the big ones just to try out "Plane Objectives".

Luckily we were wrong and the big versions were better suited for the machines. The smaller ones were promoted to a much more important job.

Final Thoughts:

We should have done a larger and heavier base that would support all the weight of the arms. Also, for easier control of the machines, we should have made a larger control panel and used bigger syringes which would allow for more motion.
The "finger" could have benefitted from being made of a stronger material than a wooden skewer, and perhaps its joins could have allowed for a wider range of motion for more control.
