Rhino and Cura

Optimization of the Piñata

Using Grasshopper so that a minimum amount of stencils will be used

we decided to place the fidgets at the bottom of the piñata instead of a tower inside the piñata(for construction) as less stencils will be needed

we decided to place the chain underneath the piñata stencil optimization

Final Thoughts:
Piñata: The printed supports were too strong compared to the shell, which didn't allow for them to be separated without tearing the piñata. The chain shouldn't have been printed beneath the shell because that just added more strength to the supports.
Bats: The alginate mold wasn't fit for an ice casting, because it froze almost as strong as the water. It became grainy and not flexible, so it was very hard to release from.
